World class big band music! Vanessa Perica is an award-winning composer, arranger and bandleader based in Melbourne, Australia. In 2023 she was in Norway to play her critically acclaimed debut album "Love is a Temporary Madness" together with the Bergen Big Band, and now she is finally back to play her newest album "The Eye is the First Circle" at Vossa Jazz. The album has received rave reviews from magazines such as Down Beat, All About Jazz and The Australian. Her music is described as masterful and fantastic with references to Maria Schneider, Thad Jones and Mel Lewis.

Bergen Big Band (BBB) ​​was formed in 1991 and aims to be among the best and most important big bands, both nationally and internationally. Along the way, the band has collaborated with Diana Krall, Terje Rypdal, Nils Petter Molvær, Andy Sheppard, Marius Neset and many others.
